For some reason, I've not been able to load photos since my last post. Whenever my frustration level goes down I try new things trying to get it to work, but as of yet I haven't found a solution.
I imagine at some point I'll figure something out and then there'll be a flood of new posts!
Have a happy weekend everyone- and go Hawks! <3

Hit Polish Fiery Nova & Sinful Colors Mauvelous
I love this combo! I started with a single easy-peasy coat of Sinful Colors dusty eggplant color, Mauvelous. I then added two layers of Hit Polish Fiery Nova, though really one would have been fine. This glitter is just great, it's a unique color combination (reds, fuschias, oranges in a grey base) and dries quick and really pretty smooth!
I added just a teeny bit of holo sparkle with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond, then sealed everything in with NY Color Grand Central Station.
I love these special glitter polishes, they're so interesting to look at. I don't even miss not having stamped images, though maybe stripes would be neat over these colors. : )

Orly Mirrorball & QA88
Mirrorball is pretty awesome, I have to say! This is two easy coats, then stamped with Sinful Colors Black on Black using plate QA88... which is seriously one of my favorite plates! Every design looks good and goes well together, though I think next time I'll try to do the same image on each nail.
As always, this got topped with NY Color Grand Central Station... still love that topcoat! And it hasn't gotten thick and gooey yet either, I'm super impressed.

Zoya Veruschka & QA88
This is what I'm currently wearing- a couple coats of Zoya's Matte Velvet Veruschka stamped with Orly Voyeuristic Adventure. I love this plate, I purchased it off Born Pretty, it's QA88.
For a plate whose regular price is only $2.99, it stamps so well! I'm so impressed, I especially love the tentacle-y parts of the design, it's why I purchased the plate.

Anise Killer Shoes, Funky Fingers Sand & Stilettos, & Born Pretty L-006
AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! This polish is SOOOOO GREAT!! This is Anise Killer Shoes, the prettiest, softest lavender-periwinkle duochrome I've ever seen. This was two coats and it is just so lovely, so easy to apply and wore like a champ!
I only discovered the brand when I went into DSW with a $5 off coupon for my birthday last month. I had picked out some socks when whaaa??? Is that polish I see at the register?!?
I grabbed Killer Shoes, but there were other colors that were pretty great too. (I've since gotten a back-up of Killer Shoes and also After Dark Dinner, a gorgeous dark fuschia.) They're each $6, but it's buy one, get one 50% off. Minus the $5 coupon, heck yeah this amazing polish cost me $1.07!
Over top, I stamped with China Glaze's great silver, I'd Melt for You, using one of the neato Born Pretty plates I picked up in their Black Friday bonanza. And yes, I had just recently received the plate... totally worth the wait though! Everything I purchased was just super, I should do a post on the other nifty things I got.
This is plate BP-L 006, looks like it's sold out at the moment, but it's pretty new so I'm sure they'll get more soon.
My accent nails were one dabbed coat of Funky Fingers Sand & Stilettos over the Killer Shoes, it's the prettiest I've seen Stilettos look. The periwinkle underneath was just perfect. And that SPARKLE! WOOOO! I loved this look and wore it for quite a few days, till the tip wear was finally visible. Love it!

Happy New Year! Hit Polish Into Darkness & Bundle Monster 609
UGH! So this photo does absolutely NO justice to this lovely combination! Though I did take the pic super quick in an elevator before anyone else got in. lol
I really, really wanted to stamp with my Bundle Monster clock image (plate 609) to celebrate the NYE countdown, but the teeny clocks just did not want to show up. I started with OPI 4 in the Morning since it's such a great quick-drying dark base to use, then a nice thick coat of Hit Polish's stunning glitterbomb Into Darkness.
On a few accent nails, I chose to stamp over 4 in the Morning, using the clocks image... and gears on the nails the clocks didn't transfer well on. My go-to stamping polish as of late, is of course Orly Voyeuristic Adventure. Seriously, could I not have found a pretty gold with a shorter name to stamp with??
I then topped everything with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond because it adds just the right amount of holo sparkle without overwhelming the underlayers. Not like this photo is proving that point or anything, just go with me here! lol
My bf and I drove up to Washington, D.C. for a Clutch concert at the 9:30 Club (it was awesome!) and we were able to visit a few museums and monuments. Our hotel, the Helix, was pretty awesome too. It was a great way to bring in the new year, I'm really excited for 2015!

My Christmas nails - SpaRitual Spellbound & BBF
My nails ended up with a very baroque-y look to them last Christmas, kinda of like wallpaper. lol
I started with two coats of SpaRitual's drop-dead gorgeous red glitter, Spellbound, then stamped using Orly Voyeuristic Adventure. The image is from a BBF plate and it stamped nicely, if I do say so myself!
I hope everyone had a lovely holiday break, I know I did! : )
