Sinful Colors Black on Black & Happy Ending

I never thought I would fall so hard for a black creme polish! Wow, Sinful Colors Black on Black is just perfect. Being careful, I was able to use just one coat and it dried so smooth and glossy. Any imperfections were totally my doing. I made a few nails green with Sinful Colors Happy Ending and topped them all with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond (LOVE THIS POLISH!). Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat sealed everything with a nice glossy finish.

China Glaze Deviantly Daring & Sinful Colors Happy Ending

Last night I went with one of my untried polishes, China Glaze Deviantly Daring. The formula is so nice I only needed one coat, but I wanted more sparkle so I added a couple coats of Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond. My ring finger is two coats of Sinful Colors Happy Ending, I really like it with the blue. Wish I had put some green on my right hand as well- oh well, next time! Everything is topped with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.

Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat

My posts are a little out of order, I'm actually still happily wearing Cinderella. I stopped by Ulta today and picked up Sally Hansen's Big Matte Top Coat- ever since getting China Glaze's Stone Cold, I've been wanting to matte-ify all the polishes!
This is Sinful Colors Cinderella, Nicole by OPI's She's Lily Something, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, then added today is Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat. Fun!

Sinful Colors Let Me Go & Bali Mist

I LOVE these colors! I started with a coat of SinfulShine Manhunt, an olive drab creme. I then added Sinful Colors Let Me Go and Sinful Colors Bali Mist. Bali Mist is the polish on my ring fingers, it switched between a purpley-magenta and olive green/tan. Let Me Go was amazing, it had a little more dramatic switch between a dusty teal/olive and rich cobalt blue. The blue came out at more extreme angles, so pretty!
I wanted a touch more umph, so I added a thin layer of Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty. It added the perfect amount of silver glitter. Everything is then sealed with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri top coat.
I loved the two duochromes so much, I went out and bought two more bottles. For $.99 each on sale, how could I not?!

Sinful Colors Cinderella & Nicole by OPI She's Lily Something

Here is three coats of Sinful Colors Cinderella and a single coat of Nicole by OPI She's Lily Something. Cinderella is pretty sheer, some nails could have used another coat. Everything is topped off with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri. I think She's Lily Something goes well with Cinderella, it enhances the pink shimmer (the shimmer is a lot more obvious in person). The pink star glitter was difficult to fish out, I just used a few on each hand. The pink shimmer base makes up for that a bit though (for me anyway) since I tend to use large glitter pieces sparingly anyway. I was a bit concerned that the light blue would look too stark on me, but it actually is a little bit dusty so it's not as flashy on me as, say, a white would be. I read a lot of good things about Cinderella, I'm glad I picked it up.

Sinful Colors Purple Diamond

Cupcake frosting nails! This is 2 to 3 coats of Sinful Colors Purple Diamond, then a coat of Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter. I love Purple Diamond, it's obviously pretty sheer though. I could have done with another coat, maybe that would have helped. I wanted more glitter so I added a layer of Sally Hansen Disco Ball. All topped off with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri. Love it!

Sinful Colors Starry Night

I just discovered the Sinful Colors brand, they have some nice polishes! This is two coats of their Starry Night, topped with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Top Coat. My middle finger is China Glaze's Not in this Galaxy topped with two coats of Orly's Shine On Crazy Diamond. Worth noting, Starry Night is a bit bumpy, even after top coat. I'm sure with the right top coat though, it could be smooth. There is some holographic glitter in Starry Night, it's not as obvious as in the Orly polish though. Next time I'll top all my fingers with the Orly! : )

OPI Haven't the Foggiest

I love this combination! This is OPI's Haven't the Foggiest under a couple coats of Orly's Shine On Crazy Diamond. Love love love!

China Glaze OMG a UFO

This is China Glaze's OMG a UFO, from their Hologlam collection. It's not the most holographic formula around, but I really like the color.

Jesse's Girl Confetti

Welcome to my blog! I recently discovered the beautiful world of nail polish, I've been having a lot of fun!
I thought this little blog would be a good spot to put pictures of polishes I've used and since reading other folks' blogs have been so helpful to me, I also thought maybe my blog could be helpful to someone else at some point.
Please forgive my crazy hand positions, hopefully I'll get better at this over time! My first featured polish...

This is two coats of Jesse's Girl Confetti over two coats of Essie's Sexy Divide.  Confetti is pretty sheer on its own, but really pops over a dark color.  The purple to blue shifts are pretty noticeable, it was hard to stop staring at my nails while wearing it.  Wear time was pretty good as well.
